This Privacy Policy explains how the Purrdoku mobile application ("Purrdoku", "the app", "we", "us") handles information when you play. Purrdoku is a casual logic-puzzle game intended for a general audience of all ages. We have designed the app to collect as little data as possible and to never collect personally identifiable information.
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress & preferences | Streaks, completed puzzles, best solve times, settings | Save your progress on-device and, optionally, to an anonymous cloud profile so it isn't lost. |
| Anonymous identifier | Randomly generated anonymous authentication ID | Associates your cloud save and leaderboard time with a non-identifying handle. It is not your name or email. |
| Device & advertising identifiers | Advertising ID, device/instance IDs | Serving ads and measuring app performance and stability. |
| App activity & diagnostics | Levels played, feature usage, crash logs, performance data | Understanding how the game is used and fixing crashes. |
Purrdoku relies on the following Google services. Each has its own privacy practices:
| Service | What it does | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. | Google Privacy Policy |
| Firebase Analytics | Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (enabled only after consent). | Firebase Privacy |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash and stability diagnostics. | Firebase Privacy |
| Cloud Firestore (anonymous) | Stores your anonymous cloud save and leaderboard times. | Firebase Privacy |
| Firebase App Check | Protects our backend from abuse and bots. | Firebase Privacy |
Because Purrdoku is suitable for all ages, we take a conservative approach to advertising:
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Game data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. Your anonymous cloud save and leaderboard entry remain associated with your anonymous ID until you request deletion. To delete your cloud data, contact us at the address below and we will remove the anonymous record.
Cloud data is protected by strict server-side security rules that allow you to read and write only your own records, and by Firebase App Check, which rejects traffic that does not originate from a genuine, untampered instance of the app.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
